Spring Concert
Hello Parents!  The ACES Music Department has had a busy and productive school year.  By the grace of God we have been able to learn songs in the General Choir, Girl’s Choir and Hand Chimes class to share with family and our community.  We were part of the Red Bluff SDA Church Christmas program 2015, ACES Open House and in just 1 week’s time on Sabbath of May 21 we will present a Spring Program all on our own during the divine service. This is an excellent opportunity to invite your friends and family to enjoy the message of God’s immense love for us in beautiful songs.  Do bring your favorite dish and extra for friends so we may all fellowship together at potluck! Please have your child/ren dress in concert wear of black long pants, black shoes for boys with long sleeve white shirt.  Girls will wear black skirts of length below the knees with black shoes and  white long sleeve blouse.   I have greatly appreciated your support in getting our students on time to warm-up rehearsals and know you will continue to be prompt for MAY 21.  All students must be dressed in concert wear at these meeting times.  Please note the following schedule below:

8:30 am    HAND CHIMES in church sanctuary
9:15 am    Sabbath School with John Serle
10:00 am  ALL students to meet in gym (Choirs warm-up and final dress-up check by Sabrina Serle)
10:30 am  ALL proceed into church
12:15 pm  Estimated time program over
Potluck to follow

I am looking forward to seeing all of you again!  Do keep us in prayer that the music we sing/play be a ministry to draw hearts to our precious Jesus, Lord and Savior!

In His service,

Grace Wu-Ramley

Constituency Meeting

We will be having our annual Constituency Meeting on Monday, May 23, at 6:00 PM in the school library. We will be discussing the results of our accreditation, our annual financial reports, and brainstorming where to go from here.
We specifically want to brainstorm about what should be involved in our Technology Plan.

Please give your input.  What technology do you see as valuable for an adult? What resources does our school need to have to teach it?  What skills do students need to learn?

- Mrs. Judson
Graduation will soon be here!  We have two students and four home school students that are preparing for their big day.
We have a tradition of 7th and 8th grade students marching in for the program.  The class colors are black, purple and blue.  Seventh and eighth grade students will need church appropriate attire in those colors by dress rehearsal on May 31.  On that day we will practice our marching skills in church clothes which tends to be quite different than doing the same thing in tennis shoes and school clothes. Boys need to wear slacks, button-up shirt, and dress shoes.  Girls need to wear a dress or skirt that comes down to the knees, has sleeves, and covers the chest.

Looking forward to a great program!

- Mrs. Judson

Memory verse
“Look!  I am creating new heavens and a new earth—so wonderful that no one will even think about the old ones anymore.  Be glad; rejoice forever in my creation!  And look!  I will create Jerusalem as a place of happiness.  Her people will be a source of joy”  Isaiah 65: 17,18
